Data Deletion Request

Your Right to Data Deletion
At I ❤️ Cook Food, we respect your privacy and your right to
control your personal data. In accordance with data
protection regulations, you have the right to request the
deletion of your personal information from our systems.
What Data Can Be Deleted?
Upon your request, we can delete:

Your account profile information (name, email, phone
number)
- Your delivery addresses
- Order preferences and saved favorites
- Marketing communication preferences
- WhatsApp conversation history
What Data May Be Retained?
Some data may be retained for legal, regulatory, or
legitimate business purposes:

Transaction Records: Order history and
payment records may be retained for up to 7 years for
tax and accounting purposes

Legal Compliance: Data required to
comply with legal obligations or defend against legal
claims

Fraud Prevention: Limited data to
prevent fraud and maintain platform security
How to Request Data Deletion
Option 1: Email Request
Send an email to
privacy@ilovecookfood.com
with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and
include:
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your account
- Phone number associated with your account
- Brief description of what data you want deleted
Option 2: WhatsApp Request
Send a WhatsApp message to any of our vendor accounts
with the message "DELETE MY DATA" and
we will process your request.
Option 3: In-App Request
If you have an account, you can request data deletion
from your account settings:
- Log into your I ❤️ Cook Food account
- Go to Settings → Privacy
- Click "Request Data Deletion"
- Confirm your request
Processing Time
We will process your data deletion request within
30 days of receiving it. You will receive
confirmation once the deletion is complete.
Consequences of Data Deletion
Please note that deleting your data will:
- Permanently close your I ❤️ Cook Food account
- Remove your saved addresses and preferences

Make you ineligible for any pending rewards or credits
- Prevent us from providing personalized service
You can create a new account at any time, but your previous
data will not be recoverable.
Facebook Login Data
If you signed up or logged in using Facebook, you can also
revoke our access to your Facebook data:
- Go to your Facebook Settings
- Navigate to Apps and Websites
- Find "I ❤️ Cook Food"
- Click Remove to revoke access
This will prevent us from accessing your Facebook data going
forward, but you should still submit a data deletion request
to remove data already collected.
